Arctic Trek This is a Trek for the true adventurer, for we will travel across some of the most remote regions of the Earth and visit Eskimo villages few will ever see. By late March the Arctic days are becoming long again, with 12-14 hour days depending upon latitude. Highlights include seeing historic Nome and the wildlife
of the Seward Peninsula, visiting remote Eskimo Villages to meet artists
and persons living an authentic hunting and gathering lifestyle, traveling
to the northernmost city in Alaska, 350 miles above the Arctic Circle,
dog mushing, seeing incredible Northern Lights, soaking in natural hot
springs and traveling across hundreds of miles of untouched wilderness
including that of the Arctic Coastal Plain. If we are lucky we will
see Polar Bears. Day 1: Arrive in Nome, welcome dinner 7 days/7 nights beginning Nome and ending in Anchorage. Available mid-March after Iditarod $7,900.00 per person To request a detailed, day-by-day itinerary of this Trek, either by mail or E-mailed in .pdf format, please call 800-525-3153 or send an E-mail via the Contact Page (click here) |
